What I love most about hockey is the friendships I’ve created and the opportunities it has provided me. Field hockey has taught me many life lessons including how to truly be confident in myself and my potential. The sport constantly pushes me to become better than I was the day before. I have also learned how to become a leader and a teammate. Being fortunate enough to have the opportunity to compete abroad, I was able to touch the surface of the incredible impact this sport has on the world. I hope to continue to love and cherish my opportunity to not only play this sport, but to grow the game.
