“I love the competitive aspect of the game, and competing with and against other talented athletes. I love being apart of something bigger than just myself- the whole field hockey community. The relationships I’ve built and amazing people I’ve met along the way will stick with me for life. We all love the sport and give it our all and rely on each other, and it’s a great thing. On the field , everyone can feel accepted. Not only had being apart of the field hockey world equipped me with the skills to excel at the sport, but I’ve been given skills to carry with me throughout life.”
